If you’re on a health and wellness journey, don’t just ask how fast you’ll reach your goals.
Ask: How long will it take to build consistency and discipline?
Here’s a mindset shift that changes everything:
If you haven’t focused on your health in 10 years, expecting a 6-month transformation is like walking up Mount Everst in flip flops.
Instead, give yourself grace—and use this simple formula:
(Years not focused on your health × 0.5) ÷ Weekly workout days = Estimated years to reach your goal
For Example:
10 years (not focused on health)× 0.5 = 5
5 ÷ 3 days/week = 1.667
→ That’s about 1 year and 6 months to build momentum and see real change.
And here’s the magic: you’ll likely get there sooner.
Because when you exceed expectations, motivation multiplies.
But when you fall short of unrealistic goals, doubt creeps in.
So today, choose patience. Choose progress.
